The FWA of San Francisco had another fabulous reception at the Sheraton Palace in San Francisco.
Two videos by John Crane Films played. The Scholarship Recipient Video and the FWOTY Video created a nice buzz at the event.

We were very fortunate when we were approached by John Crane and Tish Hendershot of John Crane Films. They were looking for a nonprofit that might need their video production services, on which they were willing to donate a substantial savings. As it turns out, not only did they produce one video for us, they completed three world class productions! We thank them for our new Pocketful of Wishes, Kids For Wish Kids and 25th Anniversary videos and their in-kind donation of $15,660.

Make-A-Wish: You're Our Hero!

Each year for the past four years our chapter has honored several businesses/individuals at our Annual Meeting as Make-A-Wish Heroes. These are people who went above and beyond in donating funds, goods and/or services to our organization within the past fiscal year. This year we have selected John Crane Films as one of our Heroes, for your contribution in producing our outstanding new videos.

The event will be held on Wednesday, September 16, from 5:30 – 9.00 pm, at the San Francisco Design Center in San Francisco.

Surf Poster

This poster was one of my earliest art directions. In fact I built the set. This is an un-retouched photograph. No PhotoShop. The surfer is standing on a surfboard mounted in position, and the broken glass is wired together! The water is made from resin molded and lit to look like...water! 100% organic handmade.

This was a KODAK ASMP award winning effort, and won many other awards as well. Created for O'Neill.
